I have checked the long- range weather forecast and May 17th looks like it will be a beautiful day. If the weather changes to "RAIN" on May 17th we can change the date. Here is the plan: Meet at Costco Parking lot at 8am on May 17th. *** we will need to part in the "outer" parking spaces and nowhere near openings that emergency vechicles would need to get to the building.**** We can carpool and caravan to the Gardens...1987 Gibbs Dr, Ball Ground, GA 30107. You will need to go online to www.gibbsgardens.com to purchase your ticket. You will need your ticket in hand to be included in the "Group" entrance into the park. If you don't have your ticket in hand you will have to stand in line to purchase at the casher desk. *** No date on ticket*** if needed you can use another date if something happens and you are unable to come this date. We will gather at the "Arbor Cafe" in Gibbs Gardens around 2:30 for a group late lunch. You can see the menu on the website. *** no outside food or drink allowed in the gardens". any questions please call me.

We are planning a "Day Trip" to Gibbs Gardens in Ball Ground, GA, about 92 miles from Chattanooga... about 1hr. 30 minutes.. Gibbs Gardens is World Class Garden in North Georgia. According to the website https://gibbsgardens.com, allow 1 1/2 hours to tour the display grdens of the Japanese Gardens, Monet Waterlily Gardens,Grandchildren's Sculputre Gardens, Rose Gardens, The Fern Dell, The Pleasance and Daylily Gardens. Go to the website to see what's in bloom.
If you just have interest in this "Day Trip" please sign up on the event page.. (this is not a commitment) just to let me know how many have "interest" in the event. I will need to know an approximate number in order to tell the Group Director at Gibbs Gardens how many to expect and to make arrangements for a group meal after the tour. Please note*** you do NOT have to be a member of CSC to go on day trips with us. So ask your family and friends.
Ticket prices: Seniors (65+) $18, Adults (18 to 64) $25, Child (3-17) $10.
We must purchase our tickets before we arrive.
When I know the number of us that want to attend, then I will be able to give you more details..1. Where we will meet to "carpool" & "caravan" to the Garden. 2. Where we will have our "group" meal after the tour.
Please let me know as soon as you can if you have "interest"
